Peer Review of the Technical Series on Synthetic Biology

The Secretariat initiated the process of updating the Technical Series on Synthetic Biology for consideration by the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice based on the peer review of scientific information and other relevant information.

A peer review process will take place from 3 May to 6 July 2021. 

The peer review process is expected to support the process of finalizing the document by pointing to, whenever possible, issues related to content, flow, additional bibliographic references, identification of potential errors, among others. Please also note that the document has not been edited, and therefore, the peer review should focus on substantive matters rather than on editorial issues.

Send your comments to the Secretariat by e-mail to secretariat@cbd.int by 6 July 2021 using this template for peer-review comments.

Please note that the Secretariat prefers to receive the peer-review comments in Word format. Comments not using the template will not be considered.
