Voices for Nature in Support of the UN Summit on Biodiversity
Voices for Nature’ is a multi-stakeholder initiative spearheaded by H.E. Volkan Bozkir, President of the 75th Session of the UN General Assembly, to support the first United Nations Summit on Biodiversity at the level of heads of state and government. The Summit is critical to galvanize urgent action to protect biodiversity, and to build political momentum and raise ambitions for the development of the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework, to be adopted in 2021. This will be the most comprehensive and ambitious biodiversity protection framework in history, and aims to do for biodiversity protection what the Paris Agreement on Climate Change did for climate action.
